The TIGR MEV
user interface is experiment-centric where the researcher uses the tool to analyze one or more experiments using the integrated algorithms. Each experiment is associated with a single slide and there are usually many experiments that a researcher performs. The researcher can load one or more slides of data from a text file or a database. A variety of normalization algorithms and clustering analyses are available to allow the user to create meaningful views of the expression data. The TIGR MEV user interface is built in Java using Swing components and runs on any platform that supports Java 1.3.1 and Java 3D. The following are screenshots of TIGR MEV running on Microsoft Windows 2000.
