The Team of Altodex Systems and DataNaut has been awarded a Contract from the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) to develop a Pharmacy Data Validation and Conversion Tool to improve Chronic Disease Management Practices.

The team of Altodex Systems, LLC, Berkeley, CA, and DataNaut LLC, Washington, DC, has been awarded a contract by the California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) to develop a stand-alone software application that will support the exchange of pharmacy data files, using the new CALINX Rx 2.0 format, between health plans and provider organizations across California. The Altodex/DataNaut, team will perform the detailed custom software design, development, quality assurance and deployment of the validation and conversion tool.

"Successful completion of the validation and conversion tool will significantly enhance the ability of both data producers and data consumers to employ the CALINX Rx 2.0 pharmacy data standard in a correct and consistent manner," said Altodex Project Manager, Tim Callahan. He added, "Deploying an easy to use tool eliminates the laborious and time-consuming process of validating the data files and converting them for input into downstream systems -- a process that currently can take up to 20 days or longer, for just one file."
