By using their time-tested on-shore/off-shore distributed development model, DataNaut’s team of search and retrieval
specialists built the buySAFE Shopping search capability using Lucene, an open source product built for searching. This
proved a cost-effective alternative to integrating more expensive search tools. The balance of the site was developed
using Microsoft software solutions including NET/C#/C++, SQL Server and IIS - not always the open source platform of
choice. The outcome was a superior product completed on time and under budget.
